Foot-Operated Pneumatic Seat Height Control

Allows the height of a chair or stool to be controlled without touching an adjustment lever by hand. Recommended for sterile and surgical environments.

Features

• Chrome pneumatic cylinder with an an activation footplate.

  It is VERY easy to activate the footplate. This is both good and bad. The seat could lower unexpectedly if you inadvertently activate the footplate.

• 5-star base is not included.

Compatibility

• 28mm top taper and 50mm bottom taper fits most, but not all, office chairs and stools. Please check your chair dimensions carefully.
• Cannot be used on stools or chairs equipped with a foot ring.
• 5-star chair base must have sufficient clearance to accommodate the movement of the foot plate. A compatible chair base is available separately.

*** Important! Height recommendations are approximate and will vary depending on the depth of the seat pan + mechanism. The following size recommendations are for a seat pan + mechanism height dimension of 8".

• Low
  Seat height 18.5"-23".***
  4.5" adjustment range.
  Suitable for conventional seat heights and "short" saddle seats.
• Medium
  Seat height 22.5"-30".***
  7.5" adjustment range.
  Suitable for "mid-height" or "medium height" saddle seats. This height range is generally used on drafting stools with footrings, however a foot control cannot be used on chairs with foot rings.
• Tall
  Seat height 25"-35".***
  10" adjustment range.
  Suitable for "tall" saddle seats.
