Useful tool set for detaching a pneumatic cylinder from a chair base and seat without damaging the chair components. This is especially important if the chair components have plastic parts. Includes two tools in a leather bag.
Instructions for removing the seat
- Set the gas cylinder in its longest position.
- Turn the chair upside-down.
- Place the semicircular tube of the disassembling tool at the junction of the gas cylinder and the seat, so that the wedge-shaped end points towards the base.
- Lift the chair a little off the floor. This is easier if another person holds the chair up for you.
- Hold the tool handle in position and hit the cantilever with a hammer until the seat separates from the gas cylinder.
Instructions for removing the chair base
- Ask someone to hold the chair up for you, seat downwards.
- Position the disassembly bar tool at the bottom of the gas cylinder.
- Hold the the tool in position and hit the free end with a hammer a few times until the cylinder separates from the base.
